Carolina Alabau, singer and songwriter, comes from a family of musicians and has lived her love for music since she was very young. Graduated with a degree in jazz and modern singing, she received a scholarship to study the master's degree in Contemporary Performance at the University of Berklee College of Music, graduating with mega cum laude.

Professionally, she has recorded and collaborated on various albums and has participated with various artists ranging from jazz to root music; Joan Albert Amargós, Las Migas, Carlos Núñez, Manu Guix, Joan Chamorro, Pierrick Padron, etc.

In 2020 she published her first album as a composer and leader, "Primera Mirada", presenting it at the Sala Luz de Gas in Barcelona and touring it around Catalonia.

In 2021 she published a duet album with the violinist Èlia Bastida, MERAKI, presenting it at the Sant Andreu Jazz Festival (Jazzing) and the Barcelona Jazz Festival. Currently they continue to tour the album as a duet in Spain and Europe.

As a composer, apart from composing for her albums and projects, Carolina has worked with the composer Gerard Pastor in the creation of the song for Ana Bufarull's newest film “SINJAR”.

This year Carolina joins the renowned producer, songwriter, guitarist and mentor Javier Limón to create an album, "Una Frase Imaginada" that flies between sounds of Spanish and Latin folklore from a very current and avant-garde prism. The singer unites with her voice the Latin American flavour and rhythm with the melismas and way of singing of the Mediterranean. The album, very intimate and sung from an impressive emotional closeness, creates in the listener a great feeling of connection with the lyrics and stories that the songs tell.
